Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Income Insurance Program
Workers in the “higher risk” construction industry can struggle to find disability insurance. Through AWCI, plans are available that pay a weekly or monthly income to you and your employees if they become totally disabled and unable to work due to a covered accident or illness. The premiums are competitive, and the benefit amounts are chosen by each employee. A small business only needs 25% participation by eligible employees for businesses over 10 employees to qualify. Note: A minimum of 5 approved applications is required.
